Internship Program

Spring Semester

ByStudents.com is a new website, and series of student-written college guidebooks, slated for nationwide release in August, 2009.

We are currently seeking two UA undergraduates for an on-campus internship lasting the duration of the Spring semester.

Interns will be asked to contribute approximately 4 hours per week to various tasks involved in the creation and compilation of material about UA for our forthcoming website, book and other publications (including articles, advice, reviews, blog entries, etc.).

By phone and email, Interns will collaborate with Editors in our New York office. Interns may be asked to participate in editorial decisions, and may be credited by name for material published online and in print.

Interns will also help build and strengthen relationships with UA's student body, student government, administration and campus publications.

Interns must be organized, responsible and outgoing. Exceptional interns may have multiple items published, and may be asked to return in a more prominent capacity in subsequent years.

We encourage students from all class years and majors to apply. We actively seek representatives of all genders, races, religions, nationalities, sexual orientations and political affiliations. The internship is unpaid and runs through the Spring semester of the 2007-2008 school year. If you wish to work with your college to receive course credit, we will gladly sign any required paperwork upon completion of the internship program.

Interested students should send a resume OR a list of your extracurricular activities to ua@ByStudents.com, with "Internship Program" in the subject line of your email. Applicants will be evaluated on a rolling basis - we advise candidates to apply in a timely fashion.
